Our first Winning Big for Babies Casino Night event was a success. We applaud the efforts of our wonderful staff, board members, volunteers and all the individuals and businesses who donated time, money and auction items. We specially want to thank our sponsors without whom Winning Big for Babies would not have been possible: Raymond James, Judith Yevick, Southwest Florida Workforce Development , Hendry Regional Medical Center, The Medical Center of Lehigh Acres, Tim Traycik Motors Inc., Windstream, BB & T, Century 21 Sunbelt Realty, CANs Management Inc , Advanced Pain Specialists, Stonegate Bank, Kiwanis of Naples on the Gulf and Softrim Corp.
The event netted over $15,000 which will go towards our mission of saving babies’ lives in Southwest Florida.
The majority of attendees said they would come back next year and invite a friend. In the words of Stephen Eller “Huge applause indeed! What a fantastic time! I’ve received so many positive comments from people who were there. Staff and volunteers hit this one out of the park!”
The Healthy Start Coalition
In Southwest Florida, too many babies die from preventable causes and lack of health services. The Healthy Start Coalition leads a cooperative community effort to reduce infant mortality and improve the health of children, childbearing women and their families throughout Southwest Florida.
