Starting Pay Range: $65,000 – $75,000, based on experience

This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon funding award and continued grant availability.

Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a new telehealth program that aligns with the organization’s mission and goals. This position will also assist with cultivating and maintaining community partnerships, outreach initiatives, and technical assistance resources to develop program initiatives and outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for our mission, excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and a proven track record in program management and operations, compliance, and partnership development. Key responsibilities include overseeing program staff, managing deliverables, coordinating inventory and supplies, and developing strategic outreach initiatives and partnerships to enhance services and community awareness. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve our goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage the strategic operations, work plans, and implementation of Healthy Start Coalition of Southwest Florida’s telehealth program.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Healthy Start Coalition of Southwest Florida’s programs, and local systems, partners, and services focused on maternal and child health, as well as the eligibility, referral, and follow-up processes for these programs and services.
  • Present at and participate in Healthy Start Coalition of Southwest Florida program meetings, community meetings and outreach events, and physician outreach.
  • Participate in training and technical assistance related to telehealth program including, but not limited to, intakes, screenings, curriculum, referrals, databases, and outreach.
  • Manage, write, and collect documentation, reports, and social media/marketing for contract deliverables; liaise with the Contract Programs Manager to achieve performance measures and quality assurance.
  • Manage program supplies, inventory, distribution, purchase orders, and record keeping.
  • Supervise program staff and lead appropriate and timely communication with staff across departments.
  • Recruit and hire program staff, provide guidance and support, promote collaboration, and evaluate team performance.
  • Supervise the appropriate documentation of relevant information, data entry, and data management in program databases. Perform regular record reviews as part of the QA/CQI process, and provide feedback to staff.
  • Liaise with Community Engagement staff to strategize and implement effective outreach initiatives to educate the local community on Healthy Start Coalition of Southwest Florida’s telehealth program.
  • Maintain and/or develop collaborative relationships with appropriate organizations and individuals to further the Coalition’s mission and programs.
  • Maintain participant confidentiality and integrity in keeping with Coalition policies, practices, professional standards, and program requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work, public health, health education, human services, health sciences, or a related field is required, and at least five to eight years of relevant experience. A master’s degree is preferred. Experience in community outreach, program management, and/or working with at-risk families is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize work requirements and work evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Knowledge of services, supports, and systems that serve children and families, particularly Florida’s system for maternal/child health.
  • Ability to supervise and direct program staff.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to write in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
  • Knowledge of and respect for confidentiality involving clients, stakeholders, and peers.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships within the community.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with limited supervision.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple work assignments and events with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in software and AI applications such as Microsoft Office for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Employment Type

This is a full-time, exempt position. Standard hours of operation are M-F 8:30am-5:00pm. The schedule is flexible and will require some evening and weekend activities. Travel within Lee, Collier, Hendry, and Glades counties is required. Benefits include Paid Time Off, Holidays, Insurance and Retirement Plan.
