Diaper Bank

Healthy Start operates the only regional diaper bank serving families in Lee, Collier, Hendry, and Glades counties. The Southwest Florida Regional Diaper Bank provides more than a million diapers to families in need.

1 in 2 families cannot afford enough diapers to keep their infant or child clean, dry, and healthy.

No Diapers: An Impact on Communities

Employers:

Significant financial loss when employees (parents) miss work because they’re unable to access childcare, which requires daily diapers for baby

Parents:

Increased risk of maternal depression, mental health issues

Babies:

More vulnerable to toxic stress, painful rashes, and urinary tract infections, etc., leading to more trips to the doctor

Family Membership Eligibility

1. Be A Home Visiting Client Family: Each of our Home Visiting client families receives 75 diapers per month that are delivered directly to them by their home visitor. After completing this form please visit a pick up location closest to your home. Want to partner with a home visitor? Connect to one here.

2. Become a Member – Pick-Up Locations: Find a pick-up location near you. Visit the pick-up location and be able to provide the following items at your first pick-up:

Must be a resident of the county you are picking up in
Proof of address (ID card, Driver License, residential rental or lease agreement, mortgage statement, farm workers pass, etc.)
Proof of state/federal assistance (WIC, Medicaid, TANF, Harry Chapin Card, etc.)
Proof of baby (i.e., birth certificate)
